2017-05-19ARM: remove duplicate 'const' annotations'Arnd Bergmann
gcc-7 warns about some declarations that are more 'const' than necessary: arch/arm/mach-at91/pm.c:338:34: error: duplicate 'const' declaration specifier [-Werror=duplicate-decl-specifier] static const struct of_device_id const ramc_ids[] __initconst = { arch/arm/mach-bcm/bcm_kona_smc.c:36:34: error: duplicate 'const' declaration specifier [-Werror=duplicate-decl-specifier] static const struct of_device_id const bcm_kona_smc_ids[] __initconst = { arch/arm/mach-spear/time.c:207:34: error: duplicate 'const' declaration specifier [-Werror=duplicate-decl-specifier] static const struct of_device_id const timer_of_match[] __initconst = { arch/arm/mach-omap2/prm_common.c:714:34: error: duplicate 'const' declaration specifier [-Werror=duplicate-decl-specifier] static const struct of_device_id const omap_prcm_dt_match_table[] __initconst = { arch/arm/mach-omap2/vc.c:562:35: error: duplicate 'const' declaration specifier [-Werror=duplicate-decl-specifier] static const struct i2c_init_data const omap4_i2c_timing_data[] __initconst = { The ones in arch/arm were apparently all introduced accidentally by one commit that correctly marked a lot of variables as __initconst. 2016-11-07ARM: spear: Fix error handlingChristophe JAILLET
'clk_get_sys()' returns an error pointer in case of error, not NULL. So test it with IS_ERR. Signed-off-by: Christophe JAILLET <christophe.jaillet@wanadoo.fr> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2015-07-28ARM: appropriate __init annotation for const dataNicolas Pitre
Init data marked const should be annotated with __initconst for correctness and not __initdata. In some cases the array gathering references to that data has to be marked const as well. This fixes LTO builds that otherwise fail with section mismatch errors. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Pitre <nico@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net>
2015-07-17ARM/SPEAr/time: Migrate to new 'set-state' interfaceViresh Kumar
Migrate SPEAr driver to the new 'set-state' interface provided by clockevents core, the earlier 'set-mode' interface is marked obsolete now. This also enables us to implement callbacks for new states of clockevent devices, for example: ONESHOT_STOPPED. Also kill the unnecessary forward declaration of set-mode routine by moving 'struct clock_event_device clkevt' towards the bottom of the file. 2014-04-24ARM: spear: add __init to spear_clocksource_init()Alex Elder
I get a build warning because spear_clocksource_init() calls clocksource_mmio_init(), but it doesn't have an __init annotation. Fix that. Signed-off-by: Alex Elder <elder@linaro.org> Acked-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

2013-03-12ARM: spear: move all files to mach-spearArnd Bergmann
There are no conflicting files between the three mach-spear* directories and plat-spear any more, so we can now move all file to a common mach-spear directory. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Acked-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org>
