2021-12-15xfs: teach scrub to check file nlinksDarrick J. Wong
Copy-pasta the online quotacheck code to check inode link counts too. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: scrub the realtime refcount btreeDarrick J. Wong
Add code to scrub realtime refcount btrees. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: scrub the realtime rmapbtDarrick J. Wong
Check the realtime reverse mapping btree against the rtbitmap, and modify the rtbitmap scrub to check against the rtrmapbt. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: update health status if we get a clean bill of healthindirect-health-reporting_2021-12-15Darrick J. Wong
If scrub finds that everything is ok with the filesystem, we need a way to tell the health tracking that it can let go of indirect health flags, since indirect flags only mean that at some point in the past we lost some context. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: remember sick inodes that get inactivatedDarrick J. Wong
If an unhealthy inode gets inactivated, remember this fact in the per-fs health summary. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: separate the marking of sick and checked metadataDarrick J. Wong
Split the setting of the sick and checked masks into separate functions as part of preparing to add the ability for regular runtime fs code (i.e. not scrub) to mark metadata structures sick when corruptions are found. Improve the documentation of libxfs' requirements for helper behavior. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: implement live quotacheck inode scanDarrick J. Wong
Create a new trio of scrub functions to check quota counters. While the dquots themselves are filesystem metadata and should be checked early, the dquot counter values are computed from other metadata and are therefore summary counters. We don't plug these into the scrub dispatch just yet, because we still need to be able to watch quota updates while doing our scan. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-12-15xfs: always rescan allegedly healthy per-ag metadata after repairDarrick J. Wong
After an online repair function runs for a per-AG metadata structure, sc->sick_mask is supposed to reflect the per-AG metadata that the repair function fixed. Our next move is to re-check the metadata to assess the completeness of our repair, so we don't want the rebuilt structure to be excluded from the rescan just because the health system previously logged a problem with the data structure. 2021-06-02xfs: move xfs_perag_get/put to xfs_ag.[ch]Dave Chinner
They are AG functions, not superblock functions, so move them to the appropriate location. Signed-off-by: Dave Chinner <dchinner@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Brian Foster <bfoster@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Darrick J. Wong <djwong@kernel.org>
2021-03-25xfs: mark a data structure sick if there are cross-referencing errorsDarrick J. Wong
If scrub observes cross-referencing errors while scanning a data structure, mark the data structure sick. There's /something/ inconsistent, even if we can't really tell what it is. 2019-11-07xfs: fix missing header includesDarrick J. Wong
Some of the xfs source files are missing header includes, so add them back. Sparse complains about non-static functions that don't have a forward declaration anywhere. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com> Reviewed-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>
2019-06-28xfs: remove unused header filesEric Sandeen
There are many, many xfs header files which are included but unneeded (or included twice) in the xfs code, so remove them. nb: xfs_linux.h includes about 9 headers for everyone, so those explicit includes get removed by this. I'm not sure what the preference is, but if we wanted explicit includes everywhere, a followup patch could remove those xfs_*.h includes from xfs_linux.h and move them into the files that need them. Or it could be left as-is. Signed-off-by: Eric Sandeen <sandeen@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com>
2019-04-30xfs: add online scrub for superblock countersxfs-5.2-merge-3Darrick J. Wong
Teach online scrub how to check the filesystem summary counters. We use the incore delalloc block counter along with the incore AG headers to compute expected values for fdblocks, icount, and ifree, and then check that the percpu counter is within a certain threshold of the expected value. This is done to avoid having to freeze or otherwise lock the filesystem, which means that we're only checking that the counters are fairly close, not that they're exactly correct. 2019-04-16xfs: scrub should only cross-reference with healthy btreesDarrick J. Wong
Skip cross-referencing with a btree if the health report tells us that it's known to be bad. This should reduce the dmesg spew considerably. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com> Reviewed-by: Dave Chinner <dchinner@redhat.com>
2019-04-16xfs: scrub/repair should update filesystem metadata healthDarrick J. Wong
Now that we have the ability to track sick metadata in-core, make scrub and repair update those health assessments after doing work. Signed-off-by: Darrick J. Wong <darrick.wong@oracle.com> Reviewed-by: Dave Chinner <dchinner@redhat.com>
