From 3a404842547c92e71127870a613319a29cdebe49 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Josh Poimboeuf Date: Mon, 13 Feb 2017 19:42:29 -0600 Subject: x86/entry: define _TIF_ALLWORK_MASK flags explicitly The _TIF_ALLWORK_MASK macro automatically includes the least-significant 16 bits of the thread_info flags, which is less than obvious and tends to create confusion and surprises when reading or modifying the code. Define the flags explicitly. The bit getting set indicates the thread has a pending patch which needs to be applied when the thread exits the kernel. The bit is placed in the _TIF_ALLWORK_MASK macro, which results in exit_to_usermode_loop() calling klp_update_patch_state() when it's set.
