From 0badb2e46a7699d09ef09a2c7f8f4fe66c15e606 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Minghao Chi Date: Wed, 21 Sep 2022 12:48:02 +0900 Subject: nilfs2: delete unnecessary checks before brelse() Patch series "nilfs2 minor amendments". This patch (of 2): The brelse() inline function tests whether its argument is NULL and then returns immediately. Thus remove the tests which are not needed around the shown calls. This patch replaces the WARN_ONs by nilfs_error, so that a kernel, booted with panic_on_warn, does not panic. A nilfs_error is appropriate here to handle the abnormal filesystem condition. This also replaces the detected error codes with an I/O error so that neither of the internal error codes is returned to callers.
